BASIC RULES
A handball team consists of 14 players. No more than 7 players can be on the court on the game time; the other half consists of the substitutes.
At all times in the game:

There must be a goalkeeper; the only one that can enter the goal area.

They can play with less than 5 players, until the referees decide to suspend the game.

Substitutes can enter the court

A faulty substitution equals a two-minute suspension and the game is restarted with a free-throw of the opponents

The team official/coach is not allowed to enter the court

Maximum of 3 steps with the ball

Touch the ball with a foot or leg below the knee
The Goalkeeper is allowed to:

Touch the ball with any part of his body.

Leave the goal area without the ball.

Play in the game area.
The Goalkeeper isn’t allowed to:

Leave the goal area with the ball.
-
Take the ball from the playing area into the goal area.
